Barik

Slang word for cocaine used primarily by the Italian-Canadian community in Toronto, Ontario. While the origin is unknown, it is believed to originate from southern Italy, more specifically the Avellino region of Campania. Can also be spelled 'Barrik' or 'Bariq.'

A party or cocaine buffet can also be called a 'barikata.'
"Man, I'm so tired. Not sure if I can last all night at this club."
"Don't worry. We'll grab a bag of barik, and we'll keep going."

"That girl is fiending the barik."

"Bro, should we do some barik tonight?"
