Dipping your pinky in a drink and licking it. Typically done with young children and an alcoholic drink to give them a taste.
Grandpa: Hey grandson want a ning-a-ning of my beer.
Grandson: Sure *dips pinky in beer* ew that tastes awful.
Grandpa: Maybe now, but you'll like it sooner or later.
