Heya

A version of “hey you” that you say to the friends who are really just an inconvenience to you. While it may give off a chirpy, happy-to-be-in-the-conversation attitude, it really just means you don’t care much.

(That or you have no idea how to speak the English language)

Amelia: This one annoying clive guy keeps texting me, and I have no clue how to respond.

Amelia’s Friend: Just start your conversations in the morning with “heya” and eventually he’ll get the idea.
