When a stressful situation doesn’t just continue but actively gets worse because everyone involved is already stressed, leading to bad timing, bad decisions, emotional overreactions, and a feedback loop of chaos.
Not just “more stress” — stress feeding on itself.
Often occurs when people say things like “let’s just get through tonight” or “we’ll deal with it tomorrow” and then… don’t.
