post-scene 

someone who says the outgrew their scene phase but actually hasn't. they usually say they hate scene kids, and they might call themselves "emo" without knowing the origins of the genre.

"I'm so emo."
"You mean you're post-scene."
"No, I'm emo. Scene kids are gross."
"Emo is a genre of music that was pioneered in the 80s."
"What?"

plastic screwdriver 

a drink made out of vodka and an orange flavored drink (that isn't actual orange juice)

We couldnt make screwdrivers because there wasnt any orange juice at the party, so we made plastic screwdrivers with orange Gatorade instead
