(noun) A person of very close relationship, usually one's best friend, one of your homies or kinfolk. A BFF. When used in plural form the word is used to express a clique, group, gang or clan of friends. Male friends are referred to "tiggrins" and female friends are referred to as "tiggrinettes", one can also call a small child a "tigglet".
