Short version of "too long, won't read".
This term is used if one thinks that another person is about to write some long text and therefore only used in Instant Messengers or Chats.
Kinda similar to tl;dr.

Person 1: Hey, I gotta tell you something. Wait a minute.
Person 2: tl;wr.
