withdraw

to withdraw; to go off drugs by your own choice. many addicts try to withdraw when they realise they've gone too far with drugs but not many of them actually succed and stay clean. withdrawing is torture for addicts.

guy 1: hey man, i heard you and Julie withdrawed together last night..how did that go?
guy 2: nah man, we tried but she got so sick and couldnt stand it anymore..
guy 1: right... Need a shot?
guy 2: like hell, lets go
