A cool but silly rock group that plays a crossbreed of hard rock and the Star Wars soundtrack. They have a cool singer who uses a sword at concerts, and their guitarist is extremely fat, but he still plays fast. The only bad part about them, is that they're from New Jersey.

prog whore

A person, usually male and ugly, who plays in a progressive rock band and tries to get laid. Drummers and singers are usually successful, but keyboardists never get ass. Prog whores are an especially dumb species because everyone knows you can't get girls by playing prog rock.

Pain of Salvation are such prog whores, because they have lots of groupies.
