. Coach Riley is the second All-Time winningest coach in NBA history with 1,265 wins.
The Lakers of the early 80's were known as Showtime! with Magic Johnson and Phat 5 legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar ( UCLA ). Jabbar won 6 NBA Championships ( 5 ) L.A. Lakers, and ( 1 ) Milwaukee Bucks. Now that's Dunkadelic!!!!!

Dunkadelic ( History ) The first day of use for the "Dunkadelic" brand name in commerce was September 8,1998. On this day ( Sept.8,1998 ) baseball history was written by Mark McGwire when he broke Roger Maris' 37 year old record of 61 home runs( 1961 ) in a single season.The historical 62 home run was one of baseballs most celebrated individual honors.
The "Dunkadelic" name will forever be linked to one of the biggest records in all of sports history.

Dunkadelic Phat 5 of College Basketball

Phat 5 former star, Michael Jordan ( UNC )is the only player in NBA history to win the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year award ( 1988 )during the same season.
To win the scoring title, MVP, All-Star MVP, Slam Dunk Championship, and Defensive Player of the Year award during the same season is a tribute to the Phat 5 of College Basketball and to Michael himself.

Is an unofficial award given to a basketball player who's considered the best dunker in a season on the high school, college, and pro level.
The 2004-05 Dunkadelic MVP, for the NBA is Amare Stoudemire of the Phoenix Suns, he beat out LeBron James and Vince Carter for the award. The 2004-05 Rookie Dunkadelic MVP is Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks, Smith beat out Andre Iguodala and J.R.Smith to win the award.
