Docism

As you age and your hearing begins to fail. The words that you hear are no longer the words that are actually being spoken. The responses that you give that no longer make sense in a natural conversational manner would be considered a docism.

My dad's buying a Jeep......What's you dad buying sheep for....Oh what a docism.
