The act of physically escalating a new sexual relationship in a public setting. Usually reserved for friends with benefits/fuck buddies.

(Guy puts arm around girl at a bar in a social context)

"Stop trying to claim me. We're not a couple."

"That's not claimage, I was just reaching for my drink."
