orbiting
(sometimes) being on someone's roster, oftentimes due to one-sided crushes. the relationship is usually casual, with the orbiter wishing to be closer to the orbited, trying to achieve this by treating the orbited like a partner (sending them gifts, talking to them affectionately, being emotionally engaged).
