Hausage

The mystery meat used by many pizza chains that is so ambiguous that it’s unclear whether it’s supposed to be sausage or hamburger. It is particularly troublesome on unmarked pizza buffets. Referred to on the menu as “pork”. See also “Samburger”.

Customer at the buffet: Is this hamburger or sausage?
Employee: Ummm, hausage? Maybe samburger, I dunno.
