jellybox 

A completely useless plate in which jelly is served. Commonly called jellybox as it can actually keep it on the plate without letting the jelly slide. It is a total waste of money and plastic, or glass, or whatever it's made from.

1: Ah, shit. The jelly ran off the plate.
