To comment on a post with something completely unrelated, and attempting to change the focus to yourself.

"I shattered my femur saving kittens from the 50th story of a building on fire. That was a lot of burning stairs."

Selfing Comment: "Well I once got a paper cut filling out the crossword on the Stairmaster, so I totally know how you feel. I had a really rough day."
