How southerners say the word 'Alabama'. Also any person from the state of Alabama, or anyone who speaks with a heavy southern accent reminiscent of Alabaman speech.
"Yee-haw! Les all go down ter Alabammer and git us sum grits!"
A variation of the common word "across" which often occurs when said in a Seattle (or other fast-paced) accent. Typically comes before such words as "street" or "store" in which the st- syllable is blurred into the word "across" because of the speed at which most native Seattleites speak.
"So we ran right acrosst the street and almostgot hit! It was awesome!"
