Deadname

When a trans person changes their name, their previous name is their deadname now. If you aren't trans and you change your name, your previous name is not a deadname. If you are under the trans umbrella you can have a deadname.

Trans person: I changed my name
Ally: Okay!
Trans person: Please don't call me by my deadname anymore it makes me uncomfortable.
Ally: I'll try my best!
