Interoception

Interoception is the collection of senses providing information to the organism about the internal state of the body. Not to be confused with, nor a misspelling of introspection, which is the examination of one's own conscious thoughts and feelings.

Individuals with ADHD often struggle with interoception, which is the ability to recognize and respond to internal bodily signals like hunger, pain, and emotions.
