An abbreviation of "Involuntarily Celibate", Originating in 1997 and coined by Amanda as "Invcel", later shortened to the term familiarized today. It was originally used to denonimate people who have trouble finding romantical relationship, though now a subculture of predominantly misogynistic people, who often blame women, feminism and hypergamy for their situation.
