The phenomenon in which parents of an ugly baby seem to post an unusually large number of photos of it on social media. They constantly post pictures with captions like “my beautiful baby” or “look how gorgeous she is,” presumably because, somewhere deep down, they know the truth and need the validation.
The uglier the baby, the more posts.
