Plungered

When a particular individual has ingested more alcoholic beverages than their liver can process, rendering them incapable of any kind of discernible speech and/or the ability to stand by themselves.

"Did you see wee Tam last night?"

"Aye, he was absolutely plungered! We took him home in a wheelbarrow we found and dumped him at his front door"
