Bloc Side Soldiers (B.S.S.)

A Detroit graffiti crew from the mid-2010s that evolved into the Hyena Crips (83GC), a core clique of the 5 Point Nation Crip alliance. Originating on the city’s far Northwest Side near West Seven Mile and Five Points, B.S.S. was known for bold block-letter tags before shifting from graffiti to a loose street-crew identity as the Hyena Crips name took hold in the late 2010s.

The “8Trays” or “W7M 8Trays” in Detroit, Mi are small localized street gang known for gang graffiti, they go by names like “83GC”, “W7M ETGC”, “W7M ScoreGang”, “Hyena Crips” or “83GC ScoreGang”. Posted in Detroit Reddit threads for gang tags in high traffic areas, like Grand River & Telegraph.

A squad of 3+ homies (usually 15–20, max 50) who run their block, tag walls, flex turf, and sometimes link with bigger gangs. It’s not always about gunplay—rep, presence, and respect speak louder than beef.

5PN

The 5 Point Nation (5PN), also known as the 5Point Nation Crips, is a localized street gang alliance in Detroit, Michigan, primarily operating in the Five Points neighborhood within the 48219 ZIP code on the city's west side. Formed around 2015–2016, it draws heavy cultural influence from broader Crip traditions (such as blue color affiliations and hand signs) but is not directly affiliated with Los Angeles-based Crip sets or any West Coast umbrella organization. Instead, 5PN functions as a loose coalition of smaller, independent Crip cliques, tag crews (graffiti artists who "tag" territory), and subsets, emphasizing local Detroit identity, internal codes of conduct, and territorial control. Their most reputable set is the Hyena Crips aka W7M ScoreGang, a predominantly African-American small localized street gang known for “tag wars” with rival gangs.

“Tiny Joker” also know as “Joker”, “Two-Syxx Joker”, “W7M Joker” or “BaccWestJ8K3R” is a reputable Crips gang member from the Hyena Crips aka “83GC” in Detroit, Mi. He was featured in The Detroit News in an August 2025 article about gang graffiti “tag wars” in his neighborhood Five Points on Detroit’s Westside 48219, and is a well-known graffiti artist and graffiti archiver.
