Accepted nickname of New York Knicks and former Kentucky Wildcats basketball player Josh Harrellson. The nickname was coined by Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio. Josh Harrellson is very fond of jean shorts (jorts) and openly embraces the nickname.

Jorts had a really good game last night. He rebounded and shot the 3 really well.
