Middle-of-the-road. Describes music that is neither too edgy or too sleepy. Also described as "safe", or "nonoffensive".

Barry Manilow and Barbra Strisand can be considered MOR. Although they are boring to most people.

jumper cables

An attack where one sneaks behind his victim and jabs him in the ribs, on both sides simultaneously. So called because of the jolt, like electricity delivered through jumper cables.
