Someone on social media (Instagram, YouTube, tiktok, etc.) that fits at least two of the following criteria:
1. Not many followers/subscribers/fans, even though they've been at it for awhile.
2. Feels the need to update their followers/subs OFTEN and about the most trivial things. They act like people are on the edge of their seats, waiting for updates on what they had for breakfast or if they slept well last night.
3. Most of what they post are photos/videos of themselves. It's obvious they love to look at their own face and/or hear their own voice.

4. IF they manage to get some sort of sponsor or deal with a brand, they are WAY too proud of it, as if they just won a gold medal at the Olympics or got to be on the cover of Vogue.
5. They boost their follower/sub count by following the page with their personal account and getting friends/relatives to follow. This especially shows in the comments when their bff from gradeschool or great aunt from New Hampshire FREQUENTLY leave little notes.

The most important factor that differentiates the wannabes from the real deal is that they do not possess that "it" factor that makes them enjoyable to watch/look at/follow. Whether it's personality, talent, or looks, they just don't captivate people.

What they don't lack one bit of is NARCISSISM. It's obvious they think they are all that. Zero self-awareness. Their "let me grace you with my presence" attitude is so cringe-worthy, it's repulsive.
Person A: "Did you hear that Alex is on tiktok now?"
Person B: "Lol yeah. YouTube was too much work, so he moved to tiktok. Did you see his H&M try-on haul? So cringey, he thinks he's so hot! He's such an influencer wannabe."

Vintage interests:
1. They wear vintage or custom made clothes in older styles
2. They listen to old (1900s-1960s) music instead of what "normal" girls listen to, like Taylor Swift
3. They style their hair in vintage curls using no-heat methods instead of "destroying their hair to follow the current trend"
4. They have "vintage hobbies" like reading books, baking, sewing, etc.
5. They can't leave the house without red lipstick

+ PLUS BITCHY ATTITUDE:
They think they're "classy", "cultured", above everyone else, either because they dress like 1950s upper class or they're naturally narcissists. Many have social media pages where they display their vintage outfits and belongings under the guise of "enjoying old things", but really they're just basking in the attention as much as any Instagram bikini model. They prefer to smirk or frown "seductively" for pictures, thinking it looks sultry. Actually, it's just their bitchy attitude showing through. Likes to be part of cliques and office gossip. Will take any chance they get to brag about their music taste, custom made clothes, or the Jane Austen book they just read.

= Vintage bitch

Just to be clear: liking vintage things does not make a girl a vintage bitch. Liking old stuff is cool, actually.
It's using vintage interests as a reason to be a bitch to everyone that makes her a vintage bitch.
Person A: "What's Bethany doing these days? You haven't mentioned her in awhile."
Person B: "Oh, she stopped talking to me years ago. She became a vintage bitch who was too good to be friends with someone 'normal' like me. She's an Instagram influencer wannabe, now."

A person who has a glow up (transformation or massive improvement to outward appearance, usually by learning how to dress or do makeup/hair) and suddenly thinks they are better than everyone else, even people they were friends with. This attitude can last from a short period as they become used to their newfound beauty to YEARS after their transformation. Due to this abrupt change in attitude and personality, the person usually cuts off the friends they now consider lower than them and seeks out connections with people they judge to be on or only slightly below their new, elevated level.

Not specific to gender, but much more common in girls/women. Can occur at any age, however it is most common in teens to early twenties, as changes in puberty can play a major role.

Also note: if the transformation is from "normal" or mainstream to a more vintage style, the glow up snob can also become a vintage bitch.
Person A: "Awww look at this picture! Joy was so little and cute back then!"
Person B: "Back then, sure. Too bad she grew up to be a glow up snob. She's just a jerk now."
