Definitions by VLE_Alaska

A versatile, non-committal blend of "no" and "yep." Used to deliver a response that is intentionally vague, sassy, or dismissive. It allows the speaker to acknowledge a question without actually providing a definitive answer or showing genuine interest. It is the verbal equivalent of a shrug or an eye-roll.
The Sassy:
Mom: "Are you seriously wearing those shoes out?"
Me: "Nyep."

The Funny/Lazy:
Friend: "Did you just eat the last slice of pizza while looking me in the eyes?"
Me: "Nyep."

The Dismissive:
Boss: "So, are you going to have those reports done by five?"
Me: (not looking up from phone) "Nyep."
