The act of any form of digital communication (text messages, IM's, Facebook posts, email) while under the influence of Ambien. Often to awkward or madcap effect.

Don't worry about it, Michael was ambiexting out of his mind last night.

Ambioxicated

An altered state of consciousness entered after taking an Ambien with large amounts of alcohol. Often leads to embarrassing situations due to memory loss and self-control. Also the main cause of Ambiexting.

Michael was so ambioxicated last night he ambiexted on Facebook that he was giving away all of his possessions and sailing the world with the dogs in his mother's grandfather clock
