Academically confused cousin of "noteworthy". However, it still works the same way and does the job. It means that something is "worth noting", "remarkable" or “worth paying attention to”. When people repeat it a few times, they usually start to wonder why this is not the official version. Pertaining to distinctive vocabulary failures of educated people.
