Definitions by TheJimothy

A mixed accent formed when someone from Scotland lives in an English “-shire” area long enough that their original Scottish accent mutates into something confusingly in-between.
Example:
“After fifteen years living in the shires, her accent evolved into Scotshire — confusing, aggressive, yet oddly polite.”

Example 2:
“He moved down south ten years ago and now speaks fluent Scotshire.”
