Expatreneur

Someone who, while living in a foreign country, commits to the process of starting their own business.
Jim did a three year tour in Seoul where he became an expert on the local cuisine. In true expatreneur fashion, he moved back to Texas and opened a Korean restaurant.

Often used in Crossfit, a 'bro rep' refers to the situation where a friendly scorer allows for a questionable repetition to count instead of giving a 'no rep'.
He definitely didn't go low enough on the last squat but I could tell he was tired so I gave him a 'bro rep'.

In the official competitions, 'bro reps' aren't in play.

'No rep' is the term used in Crossfit when a person fails to sufficiently complete a movement according to the rules.
My scorer kept 'no repping' me even though I'm pretty sure I was getting low enough on the overhead squats.

The new coach at our gym is the 'no rep' king.

SNS-pionage

Think of SNS-pionage as the sophisticated first cousin of Facebook stalking. Its application is oriented more towards organizational contexts (hiring, market research on competitors) so Linkedin is groundzero for this phenomenon.
I didn't take the Sherlock Holmes of SNS-pionage to uncover that Anthony Weiner is a creep.

The job candidate was okay on paper but there was something off. It may be time for some SNS-pionage.

holdover ring

a ring that a man gives a woman when he proposes to her with the idea in mind that he will give her a more suitable engagement ring at a later date
Man wants to propose on New Year's Eve but can't have the engagement ring ready by that time, so he opts for a holdover ring, usually a band.
