Frobisher

Used to describe an unsuccessful gold digger. Named after Martin Frobisher, an Elizabethan seaman, who brought 1,350 tons of gold ore back to England from the Americas only to find that it was worthless.

Did you hear about Emily? She just found out her boyfriend's in debt. Third one this month. What a massive Frobisher.
