The government officials telling everyone we need to get serious about the pandemic really mean they need to get serious about it. Not taking the coronavirus seriously has nothing to do with being a serious person or not being a serious person.
Don't let anybody tell you that you're not serious because you don't take the pandemic or the rules/mandates/laws seriously, even if they're a government official.

Mall supervision

Something the people born in the 80's having the rules/laws made never had to go through, and a double standard they would never tell anybody about.
People born in the 80's didn't have mall supervision going to a mall at any time of the day, including at night. They didn't have to have another adult or even another person to be with them, even if they weren't working (going to a movie or shopping). Teenagers seem willing to put up with a lot more bullshit these days than they were back in the early 2000's, they do just about anything that anybody tells them to because they seem to think it's right to be obedient under any circumstances, even if what the people making rules/laws is doing is wrong.

ED Pills

Pills to prove to your girl/wife that you're not a faggot having an affair with a dude.
Commercial for ED Pills- Has she been wondering lately about your sexuality? Does she tell you that every part of you is dysfunctional, and that your whiskey dick problem goes deeper than your drinking habit? That's because you need these pills, so that you can prove to her that you're not a faggot that would choose gay porn over her any day. It might not be a big deal to you, but to her it is a big deal that your dick does what it is supposed to do and stops malfunctioning.

Olympic big top

The circus that is the Olympics.
If you think the Olympic big top is a joke, the illusion that the Olympic games are serious and meant to be taken seriously might be lost. Then they might have to rescript the whole thing, that's no fun.

Olympic big top

The circus that is the Olympics.
People treat the Olympics like it's not a joke, or it's one of those things that is like rape that you can't joke about, when really the whole thing is one big Olympic Big Top, meant for entertainment purposes. That's why they're called the Olympic games.

Undue credit

Really all credit is undue credit, since nobody owes anybody anything, including credit or respect.
The one(s) claiming to make the familiar revolutionary is just another person/group of people that wants undue credit for making changes to something, even unwanted changes.

Familiar

With everything changing the way it is these days, and everyone trying to change what hasn't changed, the familiar and refusing to change is revolutionary.
The familiar is what people miss if it does change. It's easier to do what everybody else does and try to change, to change yourself, or to try and change the world around you, than it is to stand against the people trying to change it all because they see dollar signs in doing so.
