Emotionally Musty

The feeling within yourself of stagnation or prolonged emotional stillness. Potentially due to a trauma response or simply because making decisions can be difficult, so we begin to allow life to happen TO us. The old adage, Even the decision not to make a decision, is in itself a decision.

Ever since the pandemic, I’ve felt so emotionally musty… just… stagnant and out of any source of internal stable control.
