To brag about your alcohol consumption in exaggerated quantities, just to be the biggest pussy afterwards and put yourself into sleep instead of binge drinking.

A: Dude lets go tankern today, I'm gonna hit 20 beers! You're gonna be fucking drunk today.
B: The fuck yeah!

Later that night:
B: Dude why did you come by car? I thought we would tanker?
A: I'm tired and need to pick my wife up...
