BOTulism is commenting on social media by a worthless, bottom-feeding, scum-sucking BOT, particularly on Twitter. This word just came to me as I was trying to read serious dialog on Twitter. There is just so much you can take of the ignorant, willfully uninformed bacteria that plagues social media, so this connection between internet ‘bots’ and poisonous bacteria infecting real communicative endeavor seems apropos.
