A universal nickname used by the people far above the arctic circle, in the cold northern parts of norway.
It meens friend(male), or someone close to you.

-Stubben, this is my babygirl, her name is Stubba.

-Who is that guy?
-He is my stubben.

-Have you seen Stubben around? I was supposed to meet him 5 minutes ago.
