The phrase that one uses to bail on a night out or a session.

Tommy - "Hey man are you coming to the Pav tonight?"
Robert - "Yeah man, I'll be over in 10 minutes"
Phone call later after 20 minutes...
Tommy - "Hey dude where are you now?"
Robert - "Yeah man I'm actually on the bus to Kilkenny...."
Tommy - "....bailer!"
