A short, quick exhalation of air through the nose, performed as an indication of mild amusement. Often accompanied by a smile or half smile.
While watching a stand-up comedy, Johnny heard a joke that was slightly amusing but not quite funny - just enough to cause him to folknip.
Emily folknipped at one of her dad's usual jokes, which she knew very well yet found them slightly amusing nevertheless.
