The recorded observation of eukaryotic cells having sex by a microscopist in a dark closet. This usually entails cells reproducing through meiosis, the prime driver of sexual life cycles. However, there are circumstances where parent cells do not divide and instead perform sex by fusing together, effectively becoming the child. This phenomenon is termed "fusion Eukrotica".
