US military lingo for "damage exchange" used to describe getting rid of or exchanging a damaged item for a new or better one.

My girlfriend Jen was getting too possessive, so I had to dx her for Sarah.

ass chewing

a severe verbal reprimand from your boss, wife, husband, parents or anyone else in an actual or perceived position of authority over you.

I got an ass chewing from my supervisor for being late to work again this week. *Variant - If I don't clean the garage out by this weekend, the wife will really chew my ass.
