Definitions by Scanners

An ingratiating and thus now outmoded style of singing popularised in the early 1990s by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

Apparently still in use by Christian Rock vocalists and soon-to-be bargain-bin emo-punk groups.

Pronounced Grr-air or like Greg but with 'air' instead of 'g' at the end.
Why do all of these fucking holy rollers sing Greh? It hasn't been popular for over a decade!
