Saleem Safi's definitions
A corrupt journalist on the government payroll. From the Urdu word "lifafa" which means "envelope" - in this case, an envelope full of cash.
That so-called journalist has been nicknamed Lifafi, because he is known to receive envelopes full of cash from the Ministry of Information to praise the military junta.
