Calirado 

The former state of Colorado, which has been fully Californicated. It was the first state that Californians began fleeing to, like locusts, in the late 1980s. This has caused the state to become unaffordable for many "Natives" (those born in the state) -- some of whom have had to relocate. It has also caused the politics of the state to shift dramatically to the left.

Dude, have you been to the In&Out Burger in Colorado Springs? It's just like home! I'm so glad I moved from California!
Na brah, I'm a Native™. We don't eat that crap. They should just rename this state "Calirado."

Term to describe the purchasing of an expensive item, of excellent quality. Implies that the owner will, initially, have reservations or guilt for buying such an expensive item; however, the owner soon realizes they will only have to purchase the item once. Owing to its craftsmanship and durability, the item will have a long lifespan.

Bob: "Dude, this iPhone case cost me $200! It's made from Italian leather and handcrafted in Eastern Europe, though..."
