psychoglycemic

A condition of hunger or low blood sugar which causes irritation, confusion, and unpredictability.

Roots:
psychosis -- altered mental state
hypoglycemia -- decreased blood sugar

"I was so hungry that I couldn't drive OR decide where to go to get food. I was psychoglycemic."

"Quit asking what I want to eat! I'm psychoglycemic, so let's just get food in my mouth, OK?"
