Often produced in the mid-20th century, these films feature chipper narrators, grainy footage, and a suspiciously one-sided message about how great insert industry or social norm here is.
Think: safety films funded by insurance companies, food industry promos disguised as "nutritional education," or 1950s family values PSAs that somehow always lead back to buying more processed meat.
