Comfort Character

A fictional character one feels a strong emotional attachment to, and are perceived as a lover, family member, or friend to the person they comfort. Comfort characters are known for bringing feelings of warmth, safety, happiness, and contentment to those that have them via fake scenarios or just doing what they do in the media they’re from.
I feel pretty lonely sometimes, so I like to imagine my comfort character, V from Murder Drones, holding my hand.

Fictional Homesickness

The feeling of being attached to and missing a fictional place/universe so much that you just become depressed because you can’t be there with your favorite characters. You feel like you don’t belong here in this universe and belong there because honestly this universe is too anxiety-inducing, harsh, boring and it overall just sucks.
I have so much Fictional Homesickness for Murder Drones, man… I wish I could be there on Copper-9 hugging V right now…
