Typically spherical shaped, made of a rubber material and often times very bouncy. Not to mention its absolutely hilarious when kids get hit in the face by one.

Person 1: hey look at this ball

Person2: yeah, it's very bouncy

Person1: hey watch this! *launches ball at kids face*
