The phrase 'lost in the sauce' first appeared in the famous song 'Waving my dick in the wind' by world renowned band 'WEEN'. In which a man is trying to get back to his lover. 'Lost in the sauce' can be easily seen as being so deeply in love that you are willing to say things or carry out actions that you wouldn't normally do if you weren't so madly in love. The song features a man as a protagonist that is running from the police while trying to make it back to his lover after 97 days of not seeing them; all the while having to cross "a million miles of highway in between".

The phrase lost in the sauce was first used in a famous song written and performed by world renowned band 'WEEN'. The meaning of lost in the sauce can be easily deduced down to being deeply in love so much as to the point where someone says things or carries out actions that they normally wouldn't proceed to do if they weren't lost in the sauce for example in the song the man for some unknown reason hasn't seen his lover for "97 days" and not to mention the "million miles of highway in between". In the song he is attempting to evade the police to get home to his lover an action that no normal person would do unless they were 'lost in the sauce'
