Neek

A mixed term from the words “neek” and “geek”. Commonly used by unfunny and unoriginal teenagers to mock social outcasts because they are actually clever and have more than 4 brain cells. Usually it is said as a light joke, but when extra emphasis and anticipation is added it can actually be very hurtful.

Person 1: Why is he always studying? Clearly he has no life whatsoever.

Person 2: What a neek!
